Breath Coaching

The technique follows you
You breathe every moment of the day, often without consciously noticing it. Yet your breath can reveal a great deal about how you feel and how you respond to tension, emotions and life itself.
Many people develop breathing patterns that do not fully support their wellbeing. The good news is that these patterns can be explored and may begin to change.
During a breathwork session, we explore how your breath moves in that moment. Where does space arise? Where might you be unconsciously holding on? And what does your body need in order to soften?
You do not have to adapt yourself to a technique.
The technique follows you.
Who is a breathwork session for?
A breathwork session may be suitable for you if you:
experience a great deal of tension or restlessness;
spend a lot of time in your head and find it difficult to relax;
notice that your breathing is high, shallow or irregular;
find it difficult to feel your emotions or recognise your boundaries;
repeatedly find yourself caught in the same patterns;
long for a deeper connection with yourself and your body;
are curious about what your breath may reveal to you.
You do not need any previous experience with breathwork. We begin exactly where you are in that moment.
My approach
I do not work with one fixed breathing technique. During the session, I observe how your breath and body respond and adapt my guidance accordingly.
We may work with breath observation, calm conscious breathing, connected breathing, rebirthing, body-oriented exercises, pressure points, meditation and sound. We do not automatically choose the most intense approach. Sometimes powerful breathing can create movement. At other times, a gentle breath may bring you closer to yourself.
Nothing is forced, and you may always slow down, pause or stop.
What happens during a session?
A breathwork session lasts approximately 90 minutes.
We begin with a conversation in which we discuss what you would like support with, your health, medication, previous experiences and what you need to feel safe.
The breathing journey then follows. I remain present throughout the session and adapt the technique according to the signals your body gives.
Afterwards, there is time to recover gently, feel and discuss your experience. I allow up to 30 minutes of additional time for every appointment.
Safety and attunement
Not every breathing technique is appropriate for everyone at every moment. That is why we discuss your physical and mental health and any pregnancy beforehand.
For certain health conditions, I may adapt the technique or advise you to consult your doctor or healthcare professional first. If you experience dizziness, shortness of breath, nausea or feel unwell during the session, we slow down or stop.
Breath coaching is a complementary form of guidance and is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment.
Your breath does not have to become perfect, and you do not need to achieve an extraordinary experience.
We follow the breath that can bring you closer to yourself in that moment.
